Compleat Book Series with Me! Part 1

Hello everyone! Welcome or welcome back to my little corner of the internet where I mostly talk about books and writing <3 Today we have a very fun post, and a new series.

Did I just start a new reading blog post series after starting a different one?

Yes.

But I have an issue with my TBR and am doing everything I can to make myself finish it. and honestly, I am finding some of my all-time favorite books through these posting series and can’t wait till the next one! But continuing about today's post.

I am a chronic series starter, not finisher, starter. I always get scared about the ending of series because what if I don’t love it as much as I loved the rest of the series? Today I will be trying to solve that.

In these posts I will be continuing a series, starting a series, and ending a series.

As always, all books will be from my physical TBR please enjoy!

Book 1

Finish a Series

Bad Blood by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

The hunters become the hunted.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I loved this.

There are no words at how this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Jennifer’s writing is enchanting and totally perfect. Beautiful even. Despite the hard topics she tackles she gives the characters a reason to keep going. She gives them a family they never thought they would find. I don’t want to rune this for anyone but THE ENDING?! I wasn’t expecting that PLOT TWIST (I haven’t predicted a single one in this series. Lol) but really, they emotional effect on the Cassie. I was feeling so hard for her, everything she went through in this book

Book 2

Start a Series

The Secret Princess by Melanie Cellier

A wronged princess must prevail in a deadly game of identities with the fate of the kingdoms at stake.

⭐⭐⭐⭐.5

This book was a good time, and enchanting. Literally. We follow a princess whose identity gets stolen in a new land and then has to make her way as a goose girl. I am a huge fan of Melanie Cellier and was very much looking forward to diving into the return of the four kingdoms series. As I adored the other four kingdom books. And I was pleasantly surprised to have a good deal of characters from the other books in this one! I do have to say it was slightly predictable, which is totally fine! I still adored it!

Book 3

Continue a Series

Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

Lethal. Loyal. Legendary.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I think everyone has heard about this series at this point. And for good reason. It is AMAZING! I started with Assassin’s Blade and highly advise that you do the same thing, it made me care so much more about Celaena and everything she went through. I was surprised at how realistic the action was. as someone who has lots of experience with Martial Arts, I tend to subconsciously pick apart fight sequences and injuries. For the most part everything could happen which highlighted my reading experience. The tournament aspect of the book was wonderful and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Thank you for sticking around! Feel free to comment any series you recommend or are in the middle of!

Dream big, have faith, be kind.
